Finding and knowing that incredible something is the Voyager Club's mission. We are Renaissance Academy students in grades 7 to 8 committed to supporting all endeavors furthering the exploration and colonization of space. We are also a service organization supporting the space education centers in Utah County.
Do you enjoy science fiction, space science, technology, engineering, and math? Do you believe space is the final frontier and want to play a part, however small, in its exploration? Are you interested in volunteering at one of our local space education centers? If your answer is yes, then the Voyager Club is for you. |

How to become a Farpoint Club Volunteer.
First, let's review the club's guidelines... First, there are no membership fees. That gets us off to a good start.
1. You must be between the ages of 11 and 17.
2. You must maintain a 2.7 GPA or higher.
3. You must be able to volunteer at least once monthly.
4. You must have flown at least two missions in one of the many starship simulators in Utah. Contact Mr. Williamson if you have questions.
5. You must be willing to strictly follow the club's uniform policy: All club members must wear their club shirt and black or navy blue pants to all missions.
6. Outstanding behavior is a must. You're interacting with the Space Academy's students and visitors.
If you can agree to the guidelines above, then..
1. Fill out the online Farpoint Volunteering Application Form. The link is below.
2. Email Mr. Williamson for an observation mission. During an observation mission you'll sit in the Voyager's Control Room and watch the staff and volunteers run a simulation in the Voyager. This gives you a chance to see what we do firsthand before you make the final decision to become a volunteer. You may see the Academy's Volunteering Schedule below to select a mission to observe. Use the contact button at the top of the page to email Mr. Williamson
3. Schedule an interview with Mr. Williamson after you mission observation.
4. Pass the interview and you're in. It's not too painful.
